Color Distribution Column Property:
By distributing a range of colors within a column, traders can now more quickly scan for specific market activity. This update helps to visualize market fluctuations and allows traders to easily identify relatively higher or lower values within a column.
To enable color distribution:
- Right click within the Market Analyzer window and select Columns.
- In the lower left-hand section, click to select the desired column.
- In the parameters section to the right, check Enable color distribution.
- Repeat as necessary for other columns, and click OK.
In the Market Analyzer window below, color distribution has been enabled for both the Net change and Daily volume columns.
Days Until Rollover Column:
This new column provides a simple visualization of when futures are set to rollover. It can also be used with alerts to trigger additional notification of an upcoming rollover.
In the Market Analyzer window below, the Days until rollover column has been added on the far right. Additionally, color distribution has been enabled to highlight the instruments closest to their rollover dates.
Net Change Max Up and Down Columns:
These columns display the maximum net change both above and below the last close price. Highlighting these values allows for fast identification of the best and worst performers during a session.
In the example below, the Net change column has color distribution enabled in blue, the Net change max up column in green and the Net change max down column in purple.
Comparing all three columns provides a snapshot of where price currently stands in relation to where it has been throughout the session.
Time & Sales Trend Column:
The new T & S trend column displays a color-coded history of where past orders filled in comparison to the bid and ask price.
As new orders are executed, colors will appear on the right-hand side of the column to indicate where they filled. The default colors for the T & S trend column are the following:
- Yellow: Above ask price
- Green: At ask price
- Chocolate: At bid price
- Pink: Below bid price
- Sienna: Between ask and bid
