 As with all art, preparing a good base for hand-coloring is like stretching a painting canvas, so every image placed on the app is stripped of color and turned into a classic black and white, a dreamy fluorescent, or an old vintage-style photo that we call the background effect.

 To keep your painting organized and manageable, we provide you with layers and a handy Selective Color tool to identify areas for precise brushing.

Tint styles
• Black & White – Turns a photo into classic black and white with RGB channel settings.

 The strength slider gradually blends the original colors of the photo, if necessary, to vary individual looks before the toning process begins.

• Fluorescent – adds dreamy vibrance combined with subtle texture – which you control when you apply color, tint or tone.

• Vintage – treats a photo with image toning and adds distressed paper for a beautiful and unique base for your toning project.

• 3 layer styles – Colorize Layer allows you to restore the original color, Paint Layer allows custom coloring using brushes and color palettes, Auto Paint Layer allows you to remove the original color and the base layer named.

Background Effect to change photo effect styles on the fly without changing hand-painted layers above it – this allows you to be creative without recoloring the image.
